reassurance
Last summer I went to Pine Cove, a Christian summer camp. It was the best two weeks of my life and it’s where I accepted Christ. During club, which is the worship time, one of the counselors talked about how people all around the world are constantly doubting that there’s a God, and doubt the power of him. He showed us this (click the pink button below) and he said something that really stuck out to me:
“We have very few copies of famous writer’s writings, but we have tens of thousands of copies of the Bible and are continuing to find them, yet people still doubt God and his plans. So here’s my question, if we have so little proof of people like Cesar and Plato, and believe that they once existed, why do we doubt that the lord exists when we have so much physical and spiritual proof of his word and his actions?" I loved this because it helps reassure my faith in the lord and his plan for me and for the world, even when other people doubt it.
